Pastor Zucker

Holy Cross Lutheran Senior Pastor

Pastor Tyge Zucker accepted the Call to be Senior Pastor at Holy Cross in the Fall of 2023.  He was officially installed on December 3, 2023.  Pastor Zucker is married to Denys, who is also a rostered Church worker, a DCE-Director of Christian Education.  Pastor and Denys have two adult sons Bryan and Zachary.   Pastor Zucker has previously served several congregations in Wisconsin and Minnesota before becoming Senior Pastor at Holy Cross.  He attended/graduated from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  Pastor Zucker is very approachable and has an easy-going likeable personality.  He is an innovator who excels in ministry to children, youth and adults.  Community involvement is also important to him as a Pastor.  Pastor Zucker is insightful and loves being with people. Holy Cross would love to have you visit and get to know Pastor Zucker.  

Karen Rocker

Treasurer / Secretary

Karen has been the treasurer for HC since 2007. She is married and has lived in Flushing for her entire life. She has two daughters and two step daughters. She has 5 grandchildren and 40 chickens.

Diana Batema

Secretary/Media & Data Base Coordinator

Diana has lived in Flushing for 40 years and has been a member of Holy Cross for 32 years.  She is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  This is Diana’s second tour in the Holy Cross office after retiring once before.  She is an English Literature major from Hope College and Early Childhood Education major from U of M.

Secretary / Media Coordinator

Griffin has been a secretary and our media coordinator since July 2022.
